EDUCATION AS EMPOWERMENT
Comprehensive education programs empowering Dalit women through digital and in-person learning.
Our commitment to creating positive change and inspiring communities worldwide
Moving beyond Madesh Pradesh in Nepal, JFP aims to support new cohorts of Fellows and widen its reach by fostering deeper collaborations. It will continue to adapt curricula and teaching methods related to Caste, Gender, Class, Sexuality, Democracy and Sustainability (CGCSDS).
JFP will reimagine and revamp how textual and non-textual materials related to CGCSDS are archived, accessed and their impact amplified. This involves innovative use of digital technologies, print media, social media platforms and other diverse channels.
JFP has established a working group of nationally and internationally renowned scholars, activists and practitioners to identify crucial questions and topics for research, learning and policy initiatives on CGCSDS.
By housing and building upon the international Darnal Award, JFP seeks to recognize and celebrate the inspiring work of emerging social justice leaders - individuals, groups, institutions and movements-tackling caste-related issues globally. This initiative will also connect with "Global Dalit Change-Makers" a group of over 20 emerging scholars and practitioners on caste formed in 2019 at The New School, New York.
Whether as a fellow, supporter, or collaboratorтАФyour involvement helps build a future where Dalit women's voices shape global narratives.
